From what I've seen, she hasn't mandated anything or had her hubby set it in stone, but she has been a GREAT reminder of healthy eating and exercise.
I know that some states have taken it to the extreme with lunchbox patrols (which I think are ENTIRELY inappropriate.) but the overall message without coercion is a good one right?

I think the way she is making people-and kids more aware is important. We have a serious obesity epidemic and SOMEONE needs to address it, whether it's Oprah or Michelle Obama, what does it matter? It just needs to be someone in the public eye. If she's set on doing something good for people, why put her down?
