Hey guys,
I'd like a tattoo that i've designed myself - i'd like it to represent frest starts and health and wellbeing. I'd like to incorporate into it a universal symbol that I can adapt (not chinese symbols etc). I originally decided on the egyptian ankh however realised it was focused more around 'eternal life' that health/happiness etc. I'd be really grateful if you could give me some ideas and maybe links? Big thanks!

Answer
A great symbol of rebirth/renewal is the phoenix (or firebird)

From dictionary.com:
a mythical bird of great beauty fabled to live 500 or 600 years in the Arabian wilderness, to burn itself on a funeral pyre, and to rise from its ashes in the freshness of youth and live through another cycle of years: often an emblem of immortality or of reborn idealism or hope.

If you do a Google image search on phoenix tattoos you will see some beautiful work.

Here are some links to a tattoo artist whose work I like a lot. they are some varied phoenix tattoos.

Can Yoga that is in a specially designed 38 degree heat room have negative health affects?

Craig

I am investigating the negative health affects associated with this. Or is this perhaps a miracle weight loss method?
Okay, I think by adding the weight loss thing at the end has deterred from the point. I'm asking of health risks associated with doing yoga in 38 degree heat.

Answer
There's no such thing as a miracle weight loss method.

It can cause dehydration seeing as you're sweating so much (assuming you mean 38 Celsius). Dehydration is pretty serious so if you're going to do this kind of yoga you need to drink a lot of water during.

Where can I find a comprehensive nutrition plan designed for optimum health and weight?

I have just started a cardio and strength training regimen, and am looking for an appropriate supplemental diet.

Answer
Look for a Registered Dietitian (RD)in your community. Many RDs have BS and MS degrees in nutrition and health and all RDs must complete a 1000 hour Internship in hosptials and other health care settings and pass a registration exam before they can practice. They are very knowledgeable and can work out a plan that is just right for you. You can find a dietitian in your area at www.eatright.org, the American Dietetic Associaition's website or ask your doctor for a referral. Many health and wellness centers have dietitians available.

Don't be fooled by individuals who call themselves nutritionists. Unless they have the letters R.D., R.D.E., or L.D. behind their names they are not recognized by the American Dietitic Association as a nutrition professional.
