I am interested in learning more about the approval process for drugs and medical devices in Canada vs the USA. New and emerging companies would benefit from this.

Answer
In Canada, everything has to go through a rigorous testing process before it can be released to the public, but you can get generic versions of drugs much sooner than in the USA; I think it's twenty years after proprietary version is released.

I just bought chicken that is not cooked fully and its partially raw inside can i report that to health canada

Q. it doesn't look right to me it is quite raw inside, he is calling it half cooked the guy at the store. is it safe for me to report them or can he get away from this. its pretty bad he never told it was half cooked.
Answerer #2: the guy says its supposed to be half cook! So how the hell am i supposed to eat it. i ate there twice before it was never like that! He claims ur supposed to go home and cook it! WTH is that!

Answer
Yes, you can report it; if yours is undercooked, chances are other people are getting the same thing. Whether this is an equipment problem or someone not paying attention, the source of the oversight needs to be found and corrected.

Is there a Medical Marijuana Doctor in Ontario for Health Canada Program?

Q. I suffer from a severe spinal cord injury from a motor bike accident and I have been having a heck of a time trying to find a medical marijuana doctor in Ontario. My family doctor will have nothing to do with it. I always hear of doctors in other provinces that are willing to sign, but always have heard nothing but difficulties in Ontario.
Is there someone with information on a Dr that would be willing to hear my story?

Answer
Ask the family Dr. to refer you to the pain clinic.
In most cases the pain clinic doctors are more apt to signing the medical marijuana prescription. They will discuss pharmaceuticals and that is your opportunity to let them know the negative effects you experience and a chance to explain the positive benefits medical marijuana has had for your medical condition.

I understand that a local compassion club can help! Good Luck!!
