Is it excusable to retaliate if someone insults you constantly and poses a threat to your emotional health?

Kira MD

Please do take into consideration the retaliations may manifest physically. Oh and also consider the fact that communication and any effort to convey the problem will only fuel the aggressor. The above doesn't apply to me to be honest - I recently watched a film and I was curious about the actions each character took and if they were justified. Thank you :)

Answer
As long as you retaliate emotionally and not physically, I don't think there will be a problem. But don't do it on the internet, for there will be a record.

why is emotional health the most important domain of health?

Heldschi

In health class I have to write an essay about why emotional health is the most important domain of health. Any ideas?

Answer
It affects everything.
If you're sad, you don't want to move around much, which makes you get in bad shape.
If you're mad, it affects the way you think. You want revenge (hypothetical, of course) and when you do something bad, you feel even worse.
If you're happy, that's great (of course).
If depressed, you become lazy and mean.
